Hosted by the Asian Culinary Forum at the SF Arts Institute, May 15-16 is going witness some fierce adobo throwdowns, conversations about Filipino foods past, present and future, and a live soundtrack from some fresh Filipino/American musicians. On Sunday, you will find me there, sneaking lumpia into my mouth and reading on the food lit panel, "Eating Our Words." In between this and the Asian Heritage Street Festival, its time to bring on the much needed celebration of our communities and good eats. Kain na!
